Freeview Channel 21 and Sky Channel 514.Prime + 1 gives you a second chance to watch Prime’s wide range entertainment at a later time, so you don’t have to worry about missing your favourite shows.Some Freeview viewers (those with a satellite dish and those with IP Streaming) will be able to access a new time shift channel - Prime+1 - on Freeview Channel 21 from 1 March 2023.Will the programmes that I’ve saved on my Freeview Recorder still be available after the channel change?

If you have a recorder, you’ll need to rebook your series links for Prime after 1 March.

If the automatic update doesn’t occur, a simple retune will pick up all the channels correctly.

Just leave your TV or box in ‘Standby’ mode on 28 February and it will update overnight.

Most viewers won’t need to do anything.The Te Reo channel will be moving to the channel 10 spot and in doing so makes it easier to find, and therefore makes te reo Māori more accessible to a wider audience in Aotearoa. This change completes the Freeview channel realignment that began in 2022, and allows new channels to be introduced more easily now and in the future.
